The stalls carry decorated tops with angel figures, and between the two churches on the square the scene is unusually atmospheric. Just outside town are Monrepos lake palace and the Favorite hunting lodge in a nature park. Both fit nicely into a day's programme. Stuttgart is only fifteen minutes away. With your own coach you can easily combine Ludwigsburg with the Wilhelma, the Mercedes-Benz Museum or a wine tasting in the Rems valley. A typical day: arrive in the morning, take a palace tour, lunch in the centre around the market square, then the Blühendes Barock gardens with the Fairy Tale Garden in the afternoon. In autumn add the pumpkin festival, in Advent the Christmas market in the evening. For families and nursery groups, the Fairy Tale Garden alone is worth the trip. For adults, the Ludwigsburg Festival in summer offers concerts in the palace and the Forum. We drive your group to the performance and back afterwards.
