Bus Rental
Bus company in Saarland
Saarland is Germany's smallest non-city state, and it sits right on our doorstep: from our base in Katzweiler near Kaiserslautern, Saarbrücken is about 70 kilometers down the A6, just under 50 minutes of driving. If you want to rent a bus in Saarland, you pay for a short approach with us, not a long one. As a bus company from the Western Palatinate, we have been driving this region in both directions for years: Saarland groups heading out across Germany and Europe, and visiting groups touring the sights between Perl and St. Wendel. In Saarbrücken we regularly serve the Congresshalle, the Saarlandhalle and the E-Werk, plus the Ludwigsparkstadion on 1. FC Saarbrücken match days. For SV Elversberg games we bring supporter groups to the Ursapharm-Arena an der Kaiserlinde in Spiesen-Elversberg, and we handle club trips to away matches with pickup at several points. Twice a year the state capital fills up: for the Altstadtfest in summer and the Saarspektakel on the river banks in August. The Christkindl market on St. Johanner Markt is a fixed destination during Advent as well. The state's best-known destination is the Völklingen Ironworks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994 and the only fully preserved ironworks from the peak of the industrial age. School classes and company groups like to combine the visit with the Urban Art Biennale that runs there regularly. For such a small state, the list of natural highlights is long: the Saar Loop near Mettlach with the Cloef viewpoint and the treetop walk in Orscholz, Lake Bostalsee near Nohfelden as the largest recreational lake in southwest Germany, and the Schlossberg Caves in Homburg, the largest red sandstone caves in Europe. All three work as a single-driver day trip, and they can be combined. We also drive to the fortress town of Saarlouis with its old town laid out by Vauban, and to Perl on the Upper Moselle, Saarland's only winegrowing municipality. The tri-border area is right there: Schengen in Luxembourg is a few minutes across the Moselle bridge. Wine tastings at growers in Perl work as a half-day or full-day trip. Many of our customers use the border location for day trips abroad. Metz with its Christmas market and the Centre Pompidou-Metz lies a good 60 kilometers beyond Saarbrücken, and Luxembourg City is half an hour from Perl. Trips to France and Luxembourg are everyday business for us, not an exception. For holiday groups we handle airport transfers from anywhere in Saarland: to Saarbrücken Airport in Ensheim as well as to Frankfurt or Luxembourg-Findel. If you prefer it quieter, we take you to the Bliesgau in the state's southeast, a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 2009, with the baroque town of Blieskastel as a stopover. The Wendelinusmarkt in St. Wendel in October is another regular group destination. We are on Saarland's roads during the week too: shuttle service for employers such as ZF in Saarbrücken or Saarstahl in Völklingen, conference transfers to Saarland University and the university hospital in Homburg, and rides to the Max Ophüls Prize film festival in January. Companies book recurring runs with us as readily as a one-off staff outing. School trip, club tour, wine tasting or family celebration: tell us the date, the route and the group size. We pick your group up anywhere in Saarland and calculate a quote with a fixed price. The earlier you ask, the more dates you get to choose from.

Yes, both are classics for school classes and company outings. The Völklingen Ironworks has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994, and at the Saar Loop the Cloef viewpoint and the Orscholz treetop walk are worth the stop. Both fit into one combined day trip.
Yes, the border is never far. Metz lies a good 60 kilometers beyond Saarbrücken, and Luxembourg City is half an hour from Perl. We run day trips to the Metz Christmas market or shopping runs to Luxembourg every season.
For day trips, two to three weeks is usually enough. Around the Altstadtfest, during Advent and on home-match weekends we recommend asking earlier.
