Add to that Black Mamba, an inverted coaster racing through African village scenery, the mine train Colorado Adventure and River Quest, a rafting ride where staying dry is pure luck. Even without an appetite for adrenaline, the park easily fills a whole day. The covered Wuze Town is a safe haven for families in any weather, the interactive ride Maus au Chocolat has the whole family chasing points with piping bags, and the log flume Chiapas is considered one of the steepest in the world yet remains manageable for brave children. Shows, restaurants and quieter corners to catch your breath are spread across the whole park. And yes: on some rides, getting wet is part of the deal. A spare shirt in your backpack never hurt anyone. The day itself is kept deliberately simple: departure from Kaiserslautern in the morning, a direct motorway ride, arrival for park opening. After that, the entire opening day belongs to you, with no forced group programme. In the evening the coach waits at the agreed meeting point, and on the way home you are welcome to fall asleep instead of driving two hours yourself.
