Bus rental in Freiburg im Breisgau

Renting a bus to Freiburg im Breisgau takes you to Germany's sunniest city, right on the edge of the Black Forest. Around 237,000 people live here, many of them students at the university founded in 1457. BELAHMER REISEN works as a bus company for trips to Freiburg: city breaks, school trips, club outings and Black Forest tours. From Katzweiler near Kaiserslautern it is about 240 kilometres, roughly two and a half hours via the A5. The heart of the old town is the Minster. Its red sandstone tower is about 116 metres tall and topped by a delicate openwork spire. Around the church, the Minster market runs six days a week, with stalls from local farmers and the famous long red sausage in a roll. Typical of Freiburg are the Bächle, narrow water channels running through the old town lanes. Legend says that anyone who steps into one by accident will marry a local. Add the Martinstor and Schwabentor gates, the historic merchants' hall on Minster Square and the Schlossberg hill with its view over the rooftops. The local mountain, Schauinsland, is reached by one of the longest gondola lifts in Germany. At the top, at almost 1,300 metres, there are hiking trails and a lookout tower. On clear days you can see as far as the Alps. Freiburg is the gateway to the Black Forest. Lake Titisee, the Feldberg and the Ravenna Gorge are within an hour's drive. With your own coach you can combine city and mountains in one day or plan a round trip over several days. Alsace with Colmar and Basel in Switzerland are also close. SC Freiburg plays at the Europa-Park Stadion, and Messe Freiburg hosts trade and consumer fairs. We take fans and visitors there and back. We also pick up Freiburg groups locally, for trips to the Palatinate, Lake Constance or Europa-Park, which is only 40 minutes away. A tried and tested two-day programme: on day one the old town with the Minster, the market and the Schlossberg, with dinner in a wine tavern. On day two the coach drives to Lake Titisee for a lakeside walk and lunch, then back over the Feldberg. The return to the Palatinate starts in the afternoon. In autumn a detour to the Kaiserstuhl is worthwhile, a wine region on an extinct volcano northwest of Freiburg. Estates in Ihringen or Oberrotweil offer tastings for groups, and the coach waits right at the farm. For a quote, tell us the date, programme and number of passengers.
