Bus rental in Friedrichshafen
Renting a bus to Friedrichshafen brings you to the northern shore of Lake Constance and the city of the Zeppelins. Around 62,000 people live here, and aviation and industry still shape the town. BELAHMER REISEN works as a bus company for trips to Friedrichshafen: trade fair visits, business travel and Lake Constance tours with clubs and senior groups. From Katzweiler near Kaiserslautern it is about 350 kilometres, just under four hours via the A6, A81 and A96 or via Ulm. Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin launched his first airship here in 1900. The Zeppelin Museum at the harbour features a walk-through partial reconstruction of the Hindenburg and tells the story of the airships. If you want to fly yourself, you can book a sightseeing flight in a modern Zeppelin NT. The Dornier Museum at the airport adds aircraft spanning more than a century. Messe Friedrichshafen is one of the key trade fair venues in southern Germany. Shows such as AERO for general aviation and Fakuma for plastics processing attract visitors from all over Europe. For exhibitors and visitor groups we run shuttles and day trips, over several fair days if needed. The lakeside promenade is one of the longest on Lake Constance and busy with walkers in good weather. At the harbour, the Mole Tower offers views of the lake and the Alps. Boats leave from here for Lindau, Meersburg and Konstanz, and the ferry to Romanshorn in Switzerland takes coaches. Friedrichshafen sits in a region full of destinations. Meersburg with its castle is 20 minutes west, and the lake dwellings at Unteruhldingen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a little further. Lindau with its island old town is half an hour away, as is Ravensburg with the Ravensburger Spieleland theme park. For multi-day Lake Constance trips, Friedrichshafen is a good base. The coach stays with your group, the driver stays overnight, and we plan every stage around the legal rest periods. A two-day programme: on day one the Zeppelin Museum and the lakeside promenade, with dinner at the harbour. On day two Meersburg and the lake dwellings at Unteruhldingen, then the drive home. With three days, add Lindau and Mainau Island. In summer the Seehasenfest takes place, a large town festival with a parade and fireworks over the lake. Hotels and coaches book up quickly then, so it pays to ask early. For a quote, the date, programme and number of passengers are enough. The fixed price includes tolls, fuel and the driver.

For trade fair visits with a very early start, yes; for sightseeing, not really. With almost four hours each way, we recommend at least one night by the lake.
